For thirty five years I was a lie.

For thirty five years I was a secret.

For thirty five years
the truth was hidden from me.

I was lied to,
I was lied about,
I was lied for.

When the truth is known,
you hide behind another lie.

Hiding - hiding - so much lying.

The truth relieves the burden.

The worst of the truth,
is better than the best of lies.

Life is so hard with so many lies,
why can't the lies stop,
the truth is truly easier.
